Erik Morales has even less of a chance of surviving at 130lb than Barrera does. He is all action, and showed throughout his career that he doesn't have the discipline to fight a smart bout for 12 rounds. Corrales gets to him in the mid rounds and stops him.
People actually think that Morales would stand up to Corrales best shots at 130lb? This forum is jaded.
There's no weight were they both could of fought at there best at. If It's 130lbs or more Corrales probably by KO. At 122-126lbs Morales because Corrales would be weight drained.
In which case, we consider that they fight at 130lb. At this weight, Morales gets knocked the **** out.
So it looks like most of you think MOrales/Barrera are too small for Chico.. Yet, PAcman isnt? I made a thread about a pac matchup and most of you said Pac would destroy Chico... ??
Too much size, too much power. Stylistically this is NOT right for Morales. Corrales would lose his fair share of rounds but that's fine. He's not winning this fight by decision. Corrales would've KO'd Morales and in brutal fashion.
El Terrible is one of a kind. He can definitely beat Chico who was very one dimentional. Chico was a very good fighter but Morales is a great one and even at 130 he would outclass Corrales. UD 9-3.
Nobody KOs Morales in brutal fashion if he isn't completly shot. The Morales that beat Jesus Chavez and Manny Pacquiao beats Corrales.
Yea but we're talking about a fight at 130 where pacman wasnt as refined.. Morales took him to school..
I don't even favor Wilfredo Gomez to stop Morales at 122lb, but outside of Super Bantamweight, there are plenty of fighters who stop Morales. Sanchez at 126lb, Arguello at 130lb, and you can include Corrales, who hit like a mule as a Super Featherweight if he could find you. Even Wayne McCullough found prime Morales.
