Chico Corrales VS EL Terrible ( True Mexican )

It wasn't quite a schooling, it was a close competitive fight who had a clear winner.

If Manny of the Morales fight turns up against Corrales, he gets knocked the **** out too. Trust me.

 

He took Pacquiao's best shots at 130 lbs in their first fight, so I don't see why not.

 

If you wish to believe that then fine. I'm a big big fan of Morales (I defend him from the Barrera maniacs who have to put one above the other for the sake of it) but in a firefight, I'll take Corrales.

 

I said in that thread that Pac is also too small. Fighters who have to move UP in weight to meet Corrales aren't going to have much luck.

 

Chico had one punch knockout power at 130lb, Manny never displayed it as a Super Featherweight.

Probably worse than MAB or Morales, because he would go to war right away. MAB could box and survive if he had to, maybe all the way to the final bell but he would take a lot of damage. Morales could make it a long range fight and that could give Chico some problems since he loved to fight on the inside, but Chico would catch him sooner or later and force EM into a war he can't win.

I don't know why nobody seems to notice this, but Pac goes absolutely ape**** when he gets hit. He WILL get in Chico's face and throw bombs and he will get whacked out of there in a hurry more likely than not. Chico was a HUGE 130 lb fighter with a MASSIVE punch at that weight. There's a reason why PBF never stopped moving that whole night. He picked and pecked Diego to death.

Yes, EM is a classic Mexican fighter, he would go out on his shield for sure.

 

Morales definately, definately could have taken Corrales' best shots. Morales' chin is cast iron. Morales by TKO. Just a much better fighter

 

I think Morales would execute the right gameplan to win a grueling fight.

 

Nah, Morales does better than Barrera vs big guys like Corrales because he takes a better shot & there is no way Barrera is not going to get hit even in his negative boxing mode so the chin factor is a huge factor.
Morales also has good height & reach, similar to Floyd Mayweather in those departments, Marco would be a tad too small likely.

This fight could go either way.... Morales has a better chin & is a superior fighter to Corrales but Corrales has better power & is bigger physically.
Morales could outbox him but Diego could get to him in close, its a close one, I wouldnt bet big on it.
