Horrible fight for Beterbiev ATM.

Chilemba has something no other top 10 LHWs have or have had since RJJ......that's mobility, CPing, defense, and footwork advantages over the entire division. He's also got one of, if not the best chin at the weight in the top 10.

We havent seen Beterbiev go 4 rds yet, much less 10-12, and a fight with Chilemba would have to be scheduled as such to give Beterbeiv as long as possible to get Chilemba out of there.

GYM better pass on Chilemba, who would spank Superhoe, and probably potshot his way to a 6-2 type 8rd decision over Beterbiev at this stage.:think

Something very different for Beterbiev, and Chilemba has that patented African toughness to go rounds.

 

should be a decent fight, till beterbiev catches up with him.

 

Most of Beterbiev's KOs have been confidence KOs after he hurts his man, his man essentially lays down or gets tee'd off on and stopped.

Chilemba's movement alone won't see him taking that type fo punishment.

He's also very adaptable in there, able to switch styles to counter or potshot off the jab or lead R hand.

I think Chilemba beat Bellew X 2. He is arguably the #3 LHW atm, and I would cast my vote for him to beat Beterbiev if they were to fight in 2015. :think

 

He is a great defiler of unbeaten records though.

He likes popping those cherries. Although I dont think any of them have been on Beterbievs level

Kovalev has the beating of beterbiev right now!!

Beterbiev looks slower on his feet and a bit open right now!
if he refines his work and gets inside KRUSHER he will win. But doubt he can just walk through kovalevs shots.

 

It would have to be 10+ for Beterbiev to have a chance of winning.

But how much extra do you pay to get 2 top 10 LHWs in the ring for 10+rds.

Has GYM got the kindof $$$$ it would take to make a 10+ rd fight for Beterbiev vs another top 10.
Im sure Chilemba aint taking the 50K that Cloud settled on.

So IMO.....if GYM wants a >50K opponent for Beterbiev, they're gonna need to schedule it for 8 rds. And if it's a 6-8 rd fight, Chilemba wins, period.

And how much stamina does Beterbiev have going into the 11th and 12th rds vs a guy who's been evading his shots the entire fight and countering him at will?


Beterbiev is defo a top prospect for the future of LHW/CW, but this would be a **** poor fight to make for him atm......it took Kovalev to COMPLETELY fight as a different human being to beat Hopkins.

Is Beterbiev got that different gear????? I don't thing GYM would be wise in testing that against Chilemba.

Oosthuzen, Campillo, Dawson......all perfect step up fights without the risk of losing his perfect record and perfect KO record.:good:good:good
