i have seen an exercise used by body builders to bulk up their jaw dont ask me why. but i think strengthening ur neck might b more important.
You won't be able to get the jaw strong enough to withstand a punch, whatever you do. Try avoiding punches to your jaw.
people usually train their neck.. not jaw.. the only way u can make u jaw solid metal is by braking it and doing an operation to make it literally a metal jaw happened to my coach
the inevitability of boxing is you're going to get hit, and hit hard. and chances are you will get rocked, dropped, or even ko'd, and it probably will happen more then once. i used to train my jaw after i got knocked out in a hockey fight, but i started to clench my teeth together very hard and uncomfortably without even trying to because the muscles were getting so strong. so i stopped. and plus the human jaw isnt really designed for that type of hard work and you can develop problems in the joints. stick with training your neck. theres lots of varieties of stuff you can do.
This content is protected Remember the reason a punch on the button drops you is the shock caused by the movement of the jaw on the cranial nerves.
But that wasn't an effect of their training. If it was, don't you think Wlad would have done it with Vitali to have an equally as strong chin/jaw? Better yet, don't you think everyone would do it and then there'd be no KO's in boxing at all? It's not something you train. As already mentioned, the best you can do is work on strengthening the neck.
