They were truly wearing 8oz not 10oz ? Imagine if they wore 8oz today, the hw champs would be the remaining living hw fighters. Heads would be split wide open. All veggies, the hw division would be
True savage one punch KO artists don't have to be great 'finishers' because they knock people out with one punch.
What would you argue ? Wlad put his entire body weight behind that shot and it landed perfectly clean on a totally unsuspecting Aj. You can believe what you want but that was wlads biggest and a most perfect shot. He couldn't land better on a heavy bag
Shavers didn't have remotely close to wlad power. Wlad power is never before and possibly never again type power. He is the perfect machine for offensive power. 'LL is probably the closest 1 punch power to wlad and I don't believe even the great 'LL was within a level or two of wlad
foreman and randall cobb had tremendous chins. in fact, i believe cobb never went down in his career, if i am correct. and holyfield said that he hit george 20 straight times and george just smiled at him.
I remember the Shavers punch put on Holmes. I was watching the fight with my father and when Holmes hit the canvas my dad jumped out of his chair yelling "the fights OVER!" but then Holmes got up, shocking the both of us. Holmes is severely underrated IMO probably because he was such a jerk before the Cooney fight and other idiotic stuff he said. But as a fighter he was top ten all time HW in my book.
LOL at 54 seconds "still on ***** street" oh how politically incorrect...so incorrect this site won't let me spell it out!
This could very well be true but we don't really know for certain. (which is a testament rather to his defensive prowess more than a dig at Mayweather. He is excluded from best chin of all time conversations specifically because he did such a great job setting out what he meant to, and I think he's probably okay with that.) We do know at minimum that it was Quite Good. We can never be sure whether it was more (ie Great, or All Time Great). That's credit to him for playing the game on his terms and never letting us find out.
