Rocky is a superior technician to Ward? Have a day off mate i've seen a lot of Rocky and he is very overrated! Don't rate him at all and he will never be world champ and will never be in Andre Wards league! FACT, oh and I am British by the way so i'm not a biased American :good

There is a reason that Ward fights like Borenard Hopkins - pot shotting, headbutting then grabbing and holding etc.. it's because he KNOWS himself his Chin has the consistency of wet toilet paper.:deal

Could be. There were definitely signs that Ward didn't have the sturdiest mandible. And now he has gone inactive, into perhaps a defacto retirement? It seems plausible that he is trying to protect his suspect chin from the inevitable shattering.......

 

You can't beat a good bit of Chin Talk. Scintillating stuff.

 

Even though he is shot to **** now, in a rematch I would also favor Froch to shatter that glass mandible. Because unlike when they both signed up to the super six and was on equal terms, now Froch is the cash cow of the division and he would call the shots against Ward, who couldn't draw flies to ****.

With Froch calling the shots, here is why Ward is getting his jaw rewired, spending six months in hospital:

- As Eddie Hearn said in the build up to Brook-Porter, he regretted that there wasn't random drug testing for the first fight, and if a rematch would ever occur he would demand it for that, thus, without PED's Ward won't have the strength to hold the Cobra off, the athleticism to get out of the way, nor the stamina down the stretch when the Cobra's venom is at it's most deadly. :deal

- The fight would take place in a stadium in the UK, not in Ward's hometown with handpicked ref so Ward will be penalized for holding, headbutting and elbowing or quickly be shamed into doing so by loud 'THE REFEREE'S A WANKER!" chants :deal

SOB Ward refused to fight Stevenson at 168, refused live on HBO. Why is Ward afraid of Stevenson? Always Ward's referee, judges, home town, boxing commission, etc......................

 

Ward hasn't an iron chin, but he has taken shots from some very hard hitting SMW's, so it's fair to say he has a good to great chin. Anyone who disagrees has a clear agenda against the guy and requires some therapy :thumbsup

 

Possibly the worst post in the history of internet forums right here. Hopkins has a phenomenal chin, truly one of the best ever.
