Chins can depend on weight and health,

I always thought Nigel Benn was a bit chinny at middle , but the move to super made his whiskers more solid.

Good example. I'm not sure we can define his as iron chinned these days, though...

i was going to add that to my post.

With Manny Pac he went from a kid being slightly weight drained to now a worn out fighter, his chin isnt granite anymore, but still solid.

sone people can take better shots, just flat out some can take it an some cant.
but everybody has the ability to make themselves be able to absorb shots better.

when a fighter (anyone) is at or even above their natural weight while being in peak (trained) physical and yes mental condition they can take better shots than when in less than peak condition.

but you cant take someone who cannot absorb shots to all the sudden he can take many shots.. you are born with or without it but it is something every individual can inprove their own

Guillermo jones was knocked out cold by a guy who was supposed to be a tune up for him and had barely any knockouts. The 'chin checkers' would have been on here screaming glass chin, but as we saw in the lebedev fight he has an unbelievably good chin.

Thats the point , that was at light middle I think??

Now he takes full blown shots against top cruisers.

Yeah it was at light middleweight, just goes to show that every one is human and the right shot can put anybodys lights out, no matter how good your chin is.

it also shows the difference in being drained and being in shape at a better normal weight.
being drained is the #1 reason fighters (that otherwise had been shown or in the future show they can take clean shots) get knocked out when fighting in too low of a weight class..

fighting in elite shape at your normal weight class drastically improves every chin

also a feather weight with a glass chin doesn't go up to light middleweight
