Chin talk - has anyone ever gone from glass chin to iron chin?

    There's fighters who were once perceived as having suspect chins but turned out to be anything but, such as Ali and De La Hoya.

    Pacquaio as noted is a strange case of chin evolution.

    Joe Bugner was knocked out in his pro debut, and went on to prove himself to be very durable.

    Miguel Angel Gonzalez was thought of as a but chinny at lightweight, but took big punishment against DLH and Tszyu at 140.

    Riddick Bowe (at least prior to the first Golota fight) was very durable as a pro, but appeared more vulnerable in the amateurs.

    By and large though, glass is glass and there isn't much you can do about it. The only exceptions to that are where fighters have yet to physically mature and/or were campaigning at an unnatural weight.

    Roy Jones had him on ***** street from a punch that landed high.... Had Roy hit his exact mark, I think we would have seen Ruiz down.
