Williams- Solid. Normally having been stopped five or six times would be an indication of a Glass Jaw, but he was only properly KOed once in eleven years and then a handful of times at the end of his career after dozens of hard-fought battles.

    Basilio- Solid.

Tunney- Iron. He was actually KOed by Dempsey but it was a vicious onslaught that put him down and he was also really a blown-up LHW taking punches from one of the HW division's most storied punchers.

LaMotta- The very definition of an Iron Chinned Warrior.

Fullmer- I am loathe to classify anyone who has been brutally KOed as he was against Robinson as an Iron Chinned Warrior but it was a brilliant punch from the game's most brilliant fighter that did it and the rest of his resume in regards to punch resistance is stellar.

    DeMarco- Glass.

    Davey- Pure Glass.

No, but it is not Cast Iron like his nuthuggers would have you believe. An Iron Chinned Warrior does not get abused and stopped in the fashion that he was by Mosley.

    :lol::lol::lol::rofl:rofl:rofl

HEAD, I think we ALL know the state of Roid's Chin but I'd hate to miss an opportunity to pontificate for the sake of the newer fans who don't realize just how bad it is.

Jones is one of the biggest Glass Jawed Frauds in the history of Boxing. He has no Chin. None. The only proof you need is the video of Feather Fisted Glen Johnson putting him into a mini-coma for ten minutes.

terrific posting METAL', i can't help but feel that we at esb are so lucky to have the punch resistance expertise of the chincheckers at our disposal in an exclusive capacity.

just a couple more questions if you will

    - I've heard a number of amir khan fanboys question whether glass jaws do actually exist in boxing, just for the readers here on esb can you confirm once and for all as to whether glass jaws do exist in boxing or not?

    - lastly, could you please describe the punch resistance level of amir khan?

  10. Hopefully Professor I C Chins will be online in a couple of hours with scientific research papers. He is currently playing croquet on his lawn, but should be on once one of his minions brings him a laptop. :deal

    1. Unequivocally, yes, they do. It is an irrefutable Fact that Chins vary in terms of ability to tolerate punishment and Glass Jaws are as real as Iron Chins. Also, proper punch resistance is THE most important attirubute for a fighter to possess. Also Fact.

    2. Abysmal. Khan's Chin is Pure Glass and that cannot be argued. He has been wobbled by Jabs, starched in under a minute by a guy who was proven to have overrated punching power, and he is hurt by nearly every shot that lands on him. Careful matchmaking and disgraceful spoiling tactics/running are the only reasons he hasn't been destroyed since the Prescott debacle.

  12. Speaking for myself devon, I don't take "enjoyment" per se from Chin analysis. I see it as my duty to educate the uneducated and to school minions in the forum of Chin-related boxing debate.:deal

Paul gets a 6 even though he was destroyed by martinez? Would you put money on khan to lose in his next fight?

  14. Congratulations in spotting the deliberate mistake. I often like to lay traps so that minions will have the gall to engage in boxing debate with me, then I take pleasure in mauling them in front of global audience of minions.:rofl:deal

  15. Perhaps my judgement has been clouded by recent events involving Williams.:patsch

With a Chin like his, Khan can be KO'd any time, any day. But Garcia doesn't impress me. Too stiff and upright. Khan will maul him.
