There's a lot of usual blind Brit optimism regarding David Price's chin. He was getting dropped and showing suspect punch resistance in the amateurs well into his 20's.

Stick a huge question mark on that jaw.

The myth that is "Chavez Jr has an Iron Chin" Will soon be dispelled as Sergio Martinez is going to slap that fool silly and stop him in the late rounds.

Guillermo Rigondeaux is an extremely talented fighter who could go incredibly far in boxing. However, through his career he will lose several upsets to fighters he shouldn't lose to and that will be completely down to his lack of a chin. (My article on him here for those interested http://www.saturdaynightboxing.com/2012/07/analysing-jackal-guillermo-rigondeaux.html)

James Kirkland has the worst chin in boxing at the moment without doubt, the beating Ishida gave him proves this, the case is further solidified by the fact he gets stunned by every punch and dropped in every fight.

Roy Jones will get sparked by any fighter with below average to average power he faces.

Mike Jones is a glass jawed hype job fraud. He got KTFO by 2 punches and his hype train crashed in dramatic fashion. He will never be the same again and the rest of his career will be spent avoiding hard hitters. The second he faces another halfway decent puncher he will get KO'd.

I still have lots of doubts about Canelo's chin, but Lopez is not the man to test it. It wouldn't surprise me to see someone like Cotto or Lara stop him.

Any one who disagrees with anything I say above, feel free to ask questions.

Chavez jr vs Martinez is a hot fight for chin talk, will Chavez send him to dreamland like p will or will Chavez, who's chin at this point has not been tested, give out in the later rounds where Martinez usually turns up his work rate. I honestly can't decide!

Thoughts on Gene Fullmer? He got one punched by an aged Robinson, but has shown a sturdy chin a lot of the time, does he lose points on his Iron G'ness to merely just a sturdy chin?

Do perfect punches exist in boxing?

"chin chatter" would be a better thread name or "chin shatter chatter"

When you see a glass jaw annihilated does it give you those goosebumps and rush of blood to your member?

I'm not that educated on Fullmer. From looking at his record and seeing names like Robinson, Basillo, tiger, paret, pender etc I'm impressed. Scanning the internet I see he got dropped a couple of times by good fighters. I also found that he fought on with a broken jaw suggesting he had good heart.

I have seen the SRR KO though. And that looked to be as close to a perfect punch as possible.

Can you re read that sentance and figure out where you went wrong?

    Anyway.......

You are right. Glass jaws will be talked ABOUT on ESB, but thats all you ever seem to talk about.

God i bet you want to lick Carl froch`s chin dont you. And you have a mould of Margarito`s Jaw which you use to do unspeakable things with.

    Dirty boy.
