Right im guna be honest now lol so im prepared to get flamed lol but at least ill admit it . Im absolutly **** at chin ups and pull ups. Diabolical , terrible lol. Is it just a case of working at them till you can do loads cos at the moment i can do about 8 and my arms burn and i have to drop. ofcourse i get straight back on and do another 8 (or less  ) then my arms dont want to do more lol. Pull ups are well worse lol. Is there anything i can do to give me a boost i suspect its just keep working at it. Iv never come across something physical i cant do lol. Also if anyones got a webpage with an example video or advice page much appreciated

ok you can laugh now :tong

You can do this exercise and add weight till you can pull your own bodyweight.

Just keep at it, do them everyday and you will eventually start to improve. If you can get your self to increase the number of reps you can do by 1 every few weeks then your on the right track.
So do them everyday and maybe after a week or 2 you might be able to do 9 instead of 8 then after 3-4 weeks you'll be able to do 10.
The more pullups you can do the harder it is to increase the reps at a time.
It also varies everyday, so don't be discouraged if one day you do 10 then then next you can only do 7.

I had one of those home pull up bars, talked about them in another thread. But i would do as many as i could everytime i walked by it.. Sounds stupid, but it improved my pulling strength a ton, and like i said, i didnt do them in reps, just did as many as i could whenever walked by..

Not suggesting that you shouldnt do them in reps, just saying, i did that and it works, of course, i passed the bar pretty frequently... Rofl.

I used to do this whenever I was back home, but I stoped because it got annoying doing 30 pullups everytime I entered or exited the room.
