It's not easy to say. He took a few good shots from Salido, Salido is no slouch, he's knocking his opponents down or out all the time, look at his KO record in the last 7+ years. He wasn't rocked at all by any of the shots. He's also taken flush shots in the amateurs and it didn't shake him. I remember two shots overall from the amateurs that stunned him a little but he didn't lose any balance at all. He's only been down once as an amateur, he proceeded to knock that guy out.
Looked good vs Salido. Looks like he carries an iron jaw. I was very impressed by how he looked vs Salido in his second pro fight. He lost but he still did pretty well. But GRJ will crack it and shatter it to a billion pieces.
It has to be him. I wish we had gifs so he could jump into the thread with his legendary style. :good
His chin is cast iron, lol at anyone thinking feather fisted Russell is going to do anything. An interesting fact is that Andre Ward had the exact same KO ratio as GRJ after 19 fights, yet Ward fought better opposition. GRJ hasn't even cracked 60% against the complete bums he's been facing. This fight is going to be funny.
Salido is solid puncher, and I recall him catching Lomo flush (about the only time he did so during the entire fight, by the way) in the middle rounds. Lomo took the punch quite well, actually. GRJ has never been in with anybody with a pulse, much less a champion like Salido.
