CHINCHECKERS- How do you rate Matthysse's chin?

Lucas weighed 157 tonight, looks like making 140 is taking it's toll on his punch resistance

Matthysse was shook up several times... He did the wobbly leg thing in the first, dropped in the 2nd... Grabbed on for dear life in the 3rd

And funnily enough "the machine" looked very human especially when he was moaning about the cut.

Having said that, i have to say Molina looked massive and would probably have put many top 140lbs away with those bombs. Matthysse looked weaker than usual early on and his punches didn't seem to have the same effect particularly early on. However his later surge round 6 onwards was breathtaking.... How he stepped it up after all that early punishment shows why he is the best 140 man out there.

This was a comeback fight. A fight in which he won quite clearly inspite of the KDs, legit or otherwise.

A comeback in which there was no controversy, and while Im still a Garcia fan first, and a Lucas fan second......Lucas still made the better comeback vs the tougher opponent than did so his last fight contemporary. :good

So get off it. Molina was ALWAYS known as a crude slugger with one punch KO power. He only added to that reputation last night.:deal
