Chincheckers, how do you rate Money's chin?

Mayweather's chin has been tested and found to be excellent. Mosley hit him with shots that took Margarito down and he handled that. Cotto hit him with some good solid shots and he handled that. Canelo hit him flush with a straight right while he was on the ropes and he didn't even blink. To me, that's a solid chin. A man doesn't have to get hit over and over to prove he has a good chin. That only proves that he can't fight. If the chin holds up when it needs too, then that's a worthy chin.

 

Mayweather's got a good chin, he doesn't get hit flush all that often with his defense and skills being so good, but he can take it when one does get through, Cotto landed a fair few times and never shook him.

He has sturdy chin but I can see his soft spot is his temple. Whenever hit cleanly there, it visibly affects him. The problem is we havent seen someone get in a full blooded clean shot to this region since Corley. Floyd is certainly not ironchinned like the chuvalos and vitalis, and can be knocked out if someone lands a clean powerful shot to his temple. But as the scholars say, the best chin is the one which doesnt get hit.

You talk like a man with a hole in his head. He ate that **** up that Mosley hit him with and was beating Mosley's ass before the round ended. He was beating Margarito's ass and that ain't no lie but in the stoppage round he only hit him twice. He hit Floyd the same way twice and was getting his ass tossed before the round ended. Mayweather will never play himself like RJJ but just might end up like Bill Gates.

 

Mayweather has a solid chin. He's not Roy Jones, but I can't recall the last time someone really landed a good one on Mayweather,

just watch the margo vs shane fight shane hit margo like he hit Floyd a lot of times margo didn't even flinch

 

Mosley didn't just land one perfect punch, but the followup punch was even moreso perfect as Mayweather did not see it and it hit him in the ear/temple area.

That was the punch that rocked Mayweather, and he just buckled, sucked it up and recovered, like a true iron chinned G.
