The more and more I see the olympic boxing scoring, the more I think the judges arent judging for free.
The scoring has been bad, but it has not been as ridiculous as past games. BTW, in the case above, Li Yang of China LOST that fight to the Ukrainian by double digits.
I've seen two Chinese guys fight in the Olympics, one fought a Romanian who clearly beat him but had phantom punches scored for him and another clearly lost to a guy from Kazakhstan but got another free gift for throwing and landing nothing. Stopped watching that rubbish after those two fights, especially when the Chinese guy who fought the Kazak was pure rubbish.
Of all the fights i have watched so far at the Olympics this was the best scored fight.I did see about 6 good points that were not scored but half of these came from the chinaman
