Yes, I'd still describe him as vulnerable. He was badly hurt after all, more than Kotelnik or Corley. You wouldn't be surprised if his next opponent staggered him would you? It's probably going to be commonplace throughout Khan's career, its just he's coming from such a low level of resistance its quite impressive its even improved to this extent. But we shouldn't mistake that for him having good punch resistance IMO.
Best post on the matter since the Maidana fight. The most annoying thing is people saying 'he wanted to be hit to prove his punch resistance', when in reality because it's the first offensive fighter he's been matched with post-Prescott it is the first time his much-vaunted 'boxing ability' has been shown up to be smoke-and-mirrors. The jab can be countered, it's fast flurries and get on the bike, if hit run like ****. It's obvious he has massive heart and some Elite-level attributes but I think there are some serious stylistic flaws which will always be there because of what he has to protect. Every time he gets buzzed in the future he will do the same thing. It's gonna be a bumpy ride with a short career IMO. It's gonna be hard for a lot of people when Bradley tools him.
Arturo Gatti or Diego Corrales havnt even been mentioned.... SHAME.... Not chinny as such.... but decked alot... Corrales if alive and prime would destroy the current 135 flock... even if touching deck.... FACT!
He might do if 4 oz gloves were being wornatsch I guess Fedor would get dropped by Quintana and Rivera eh?:nut
