All champions are listed by Chin, from Never Stopped to Most Stopped.

    Example:
    • 00.50% = stopped 1 time in 202 fights, Sugar Ray Robinson
    • 06.67% = stopped 5 times in 75 fights, Roy Jones Jr.
    • 19.57% = stopped 9 times in 46 fights, Ricardo Mayorga

The list starts with Champion names mentioned on the Forum with keyword "chin", then adding any Champion mentioned in this thread

Leon Spinks added above Ricardo Mayorga (alphabetical)

Each has 9 losses in 46 fights

This list only reveals the flaws in the logic of the list.

The list is raw cold numbers (no logic or thinking/opinion/bias involved)

It reveals the flaws of the "mythical" misconceptions, whenever is a myth is exposed...Believers of the myth go into denial...If the "Mythical Chin" causes the fighter to get stopped more often...Then it should be treated as a liability, not an asset

If we used this math on ALL former world champions, Henry Armstrong would not even be in the Top-25, on the list below those who never suffered a stoppage defeat.

On such a list, the first name should be Jack Britton: 1/345 = 00.29%

And at the bottom, I think we have Jorge Vaca: 21/93 = 22.58%

Henry Armstrong has one of the best ratios, look on the list.

Its a KO loss ratio (not loss ratio), So Henry Armstrong 2/183 puts him on the very top Elite level

Lots of boxers had more fights than the modern records accept, even Zhang in China is having a hard time getting anybody to accept his last win over Ramirez. Britton at (~158 pro fights) puts him 2nd after Sugar Ray Robinson.

If you can update Wikipedia record with the 345 fights, then it should settle at 345 fights.

Yes, I'm looking at the list, and I DO understand what you're saying… I'm just trying to explain that on a FULL list of champions, using your math, Armstrong doesn't even make the Top-25 on such a list. And I'm not counting those who were never ko'd. I'm talking about the list below the "perfect" (00.00%) chins.

It's common knowledge, that at 345 Britton is the world champ with the most recorded fights. If you doubt this, you can count them all on BoxRec.

I intentionally kept 00.00% Nameless for this reason.

In theory SRR is more tested than any undefeated fighter, because the undefeated fighters didn't fight 202 times & usually most KO losses occur in the end of a career.

So the list favors boxers who fought more often, without discrediting undefeated fighters & survivors who went into defense first mindset in big fights they were losing. Some might have been able to go 202 (Panama Al comes to mind)

Boxrec has it 158 now? I assumed this was done by experts on that era, myself I don't much about the era.

The 158 does not include his many ND fights. If you look just a little further down, they list the number of known total pro fights as 345.
