Started boxing at 19, had around 20 amateur fights, made his pro debut at 23 (2007)

Five losses by MD/SD (Helenius in Finland, Pulev 1 in Germany, Whyte 1, Kabayel, Parker 1)

    Five rematches and a trilogy

Two periods in his career when he had three consecutive losses and four losses in five fights (2011-2012, 2020-2022) and another with three losses in five fights (2016-2017)

Sixteen fights as the underdog, five wins (Scott KO6 2013, title challenger Takam KO8 2018, 2x title challenger Pulev 2 SD 2022, Joyce UD 2024, Wallin UD 2025)

Five fights against (future/current/former) top 10 Ring P4P fighters

Six fights against (future/current/former) Ring champions (Fury x3, V. Klitschko in Germany, Haye, Usyk), more than Tyson, Holmes and Foreman

61 rounds against (future/current/former) Ring champions, officially winning 11 with 1 even

2x world title challenger (2012, 2022), 22 title fight rounds

Won as many rounds on the cards against V. Klitschko as Byrd and Lewis

Won as many rounds on the cards against Usyk as Briedis and Joshua 2, won more than Joshua 1 and Fury 2

Twice signed to fight Ring champion and top 10 Ring P4P W. Klitschko (2010, 2011), with Klitschko pulling out both times claiming injury

Signed to fight future WBC champion Wilder (2013), with the fight falling through due to Wilder being arrested on a domestic battery charge and it wasn't rescheduled

Will always be undermined by the fact that they robbed him of his best victory over Parker.

I respect the guy for fighting everyone and doing what everyone should be doing.
But im often annoyed when he is the opponent cause it feels he is often innthe way of good fights happening. Not his fault but the other boxers dodge each other just to fight him again.
Its a miracle he hasnt faced AJ and Wilder yet.

The epitome of the old fashioned slugger getting his paper. Obviously, no way near elite level, but engineered some great opportunities for himself. Possibly could have picked up a title, if he started 5 years earlier, and was around that post Lennox lull. Hopefully he doesn't see the pitfalls mentally down-the-line, though unfortunately I think he already knows.

The Helenius robbery was worst for me. Was a big, relevant fight at the time and would have been his best win in my opinion. If a few results went his way, his résumé would look much better today. Could easily have had wins against Helenius, Whyte and Parker.

Parker is a former titlist, though, whereas Helenius went on to become a laughingstock.

At the time, Helenius was unbeaten, European champion. Would have been a very good win at the time. Parker got gifted a belt but I would agree that he had a better career than Helenius.

Iirc Wlad wanted the Haye fight instead, Haye being regarded as much more dangerous, much higher status, much more money etc.

The thing about Chisora is he wouldn't have got many of these fights if he wasn't so easy to rob. His resume is only as strong as it is because he's beatable (one way or another), with 5 losses by contested decision and only 2 KO's (Scott and Takam) against his top 16 opponents. The Parker SD also led to a rematch, just as the Whyte and Pulev SD's did.
