We can also add Toe Haye to the list of comeback failures after 2 years out of the ring post 30 years of age.
I was one of those saying Haye would beat Bellew handily had they met in their prime at cruiserweight, but looking back I'm honestly not sure. The more i look at it, the more I see Haye as grossly overrated. I think Haye would lose to Usyk, Briedis, and Opetaia quite clearly. He would need to go life and death with the likes of Gassiev and Dorticos. I think he'd need to do the same to beat Bellew.
Still remember the sly fooker slit his eye 1 week before the Fury fight as he did not fancy it at all. He knew he was done yet still the mug public gave him 2 more huge bags of PPV Loot against Bellew. Looking back on Haye's career, I smell more shyte than scent.
He certainly did slit his eye to get out of it. That was farcical. I remember when he sat next to Fury on Ringside and tried his best to look calm. If you watch the video, you'll see him do the slowest blinking man has ever seen. Nobody does that unless they're trying their best to look calm. He shat it. He's not very good at talking smack when he's petrified.
