Good news if true. I happen to be on a stag do in Germany on that weekend (17th-20th) but problem is we're in Dusseldorf. Anyone got any experience of travelling across cities in Germany, any recommendations / advice would be much appreciated.
Haye vs Wlad was supposed to have got somewhere around 1.5 million ppv viewers, it smashed the record set by Hatton vs Mayweather anyway. I would hardly say 100'000 is that an extravagant of a guess for a Vitali fight vs another "Brit" fighing for a World title. Reading this forum it seems quite a lot of users are waiting a month or two before buying Boxnation based on what cards they show, so there must by quite a few Nationwide thinking that. You would have to think a large % of pubs would be paying out to get that fight as well, surely that's worth several tens of thousands of buys?
Haye is much more known to the British public than Chisora who noone really knows. Also that fight had sky's massive build up to it which would have be the main reason for the subscription, which was only £15 not £60 like BoxNation. I can't see any of the general public paying £60 to watch Chisora vs Klitschko. During the Haye fight there was no other sport on tele to compete with either, this will have football which will take up a lot of the media coverage aswell as other sports on at that time. I can't see there being enough media coverage from BoxNation for the general public to know this fight is taking place
Hope Chisora gets a shot. He might pose a few problems before losing a wide-ish decision or getting pulled out late on. Del's got a solid chin and Vitali isn't a one-punch big hitter but the accumulation of punches could take its toll. The article says Chisora in Feb and Haye in June :hey
Not Mission Impossible, The Helenius performance was good, not gonna got over the top because Helenius is a hypejob really and truly but Vitali won't like Chisora's pressure especially early on. Worrying thing is that supposedly when training for Wlad in highlands he was refusing to go for run, **** in sparring and generally acting the ****. Now maybe the Fury fight humbled him but i hope that attitude has been stopped.
I cant see 100,000 households (who dont already have boxnation) paying 60 quid to watch klitscko vs chisora at all. Klitschkos would take it as the opponent (besides one that will bring money to the table like haye) isnt that important to them its the german tv and stadium money according to reports.
Odds on Vitali pulling out come fight week and then making a fight with David Haye? Chisora would probably top himself!
Chisora will win all of the Press conferences and the weigh in. Vitali will win the fight wide UD, Chisora will win the Event
