Most fans (according to BoxRec’s fan scoring) think Chisora beat Parker, Whyte, Pulev, Joyce and Wallin. Meanwhile Wilder’s notable wins are Ortiz and Stiverne. Of course, Chisora has many more losses than Wilder, perhaps evening out their legacies in many’s eyes. Who do you think the greater HW is?
For the love of God. I know we all hate Wilder but this is getting ridiculous. My God you people need a ****ing life.
There are some things to be said in this thread though. Szpilka, Takam, Pulev, Washington, and the Helenius robbery sprinkled with Joyce and Wallin are a pretty good contender to be comparable to Wilder's reign. Chisora could use a nod against either Whyte or Parker. Shame.
The only reason most would rank Wilder above Chisora is because Wilder had the WBC belt attached to his name. In reality tho, his resume is **** poor. Top 10 opponents Wilder beat: Bermane Stiverne, 36 years old. Luis Ortiz, 138 at the time of the first fight. ...Thats it! Those are his best wins! He lost to every other top opponent he faced. Altho I don´t really put much weight behind his last two losses, as clearly Wilder is past his prime.
The British board tends to be the most active on Boxrec by some margin, so that might be why he keeps getting the nod on those score cards. But that's just conjecture on my part
I have him above wilder who was a paper champion holding a belt hostage fighting tin men Chisora is the second greatest name on Fury's resume and the only decent prime opponent
