i don't see the love for chis,he is half decent, went 12 with a klit but 9 out of ten boxers do.
helinus is babber, haye and fury battered him, id even give harrison half a chance against him,he aint big, he can't punch and is pretty slow even by heavyweight standards,if harrison ever decided to punch someone this decade he may be in for a chance :hey

As much as people hate it and pick on it, I'd have had him go right into the Sam Peter/Hasim Rahman/Shannon Briggs "tween" fight mode and fought four or five no-hopers in a year to stay fighting fit and fighting-minded while making his record look better and not getting damaged. He's going to wear himself out completely when he could actually have a decent shot at taking a title some opportune time. Stay just out there and bide your time a little bit, Dereck. Things happen. Vitali could retire and you'd end up having a fair chance against Stiverne/Arreola. For instance.

    :huh Interesting...interpretation of reality.

ye if i was fwank id get dereck a european belt, or aim to target the lonsdale or commonwealth when price vacates, let him tick over get a few wins on the record, wait for vitali to retire then try and get him in against arreola for the WBC which he should win then youve made a bit of money, delboys been a world champ and you can start chucking him in big fights again, everyones a winner

Skelton pulled out of the Price fight, so i think they've offered it to Chisora.

I like Chisora. Hes a bit of a maverick and hes unpredictable.

But. Lets be honest hes got no speed or punch power, poor defence, terrible technique (crowpeck punch v Haye was one of the worse punches ever thrown by a pro boxer) His iron chin rep has gone, hes unambitious, lazy, gets fat as **** between fights.

His best "win"was a loss againdt an over hyped one armed fighter. His best loss was against a one armed, old, well past his best injured fighter.

With the best will in the world. Hes not headed for the top in this sport. Hes a limited, tough, brawler.

It's not exactly a great division though, so whilst Chisora is limited, with some improvements you could see him having success at an elite level. He already wiped the floor with Helenius, who was hovering around most peoples top 5 lists, and he had a lot of success against Vitali. Chisora landed 45% of his punches according to the stats, and whilst I don't put too much stock in those usually, that seems about right. Chisora was landing at will, especially to the body, so he has had success against elite opposition. He needs to refine his skills, improve his stamina and if he could do that, he'd be a threat for any fighter in the world, Wlad included.

In most divisions, Chisora would be too limited to be noteworthy. However, this is the shockingly bad heavyweight division which has Adamek and Povetkin in the top 5. Being a slow, sluggish, crude brawler is enough to be successful.

Yep it's such a **** division that you have the 4th best British domestic based heavyweight as a top class fighter. Ok then.
