:deal I agree with everything except Povetkin, Chisora would brutalise him. Also Wlads ducked delboy twice, he wants nothing to do with him and with good reason
I dislike Chisora and the way he fights but this thread is a perfect example of how dumb and blind boxing fans have become. Chisora is competing and sometimes winning against world class comp. He can easily be ranked top 15 in the world, perhaps top 10, therefore, he certainly is a world class boxer, almost by definition. Do people spewing the useless drivel in this forum even realize the basic fact that there are thousands of professional heavyweights competing in the world? Chisora is almost at the top of this heap, the top .01%, and that is a fact. Do not confuse the terms world class or elite level, with words like p4p, all time great, legendary etc. They are not the same.
Chisora is certainly one of the top HWs in the world. I think even top 10. That robbery against Helenius really hurt his resume. Chisora has only lost to top opponents.
he also lost to Tyson Fury in a fight he should have won, but he was fat and depressed after missing out on a bit money fight after wlad got injured.
He would be propable second guy in Holmes era. I would not be surprised if that bum beat Holmes. I mean Holmes lost his reign to glass jawed light heavyweight for crying out loud.
Chisora got a lot of tools. What I like about him is that he knows his own strengths and weaknesses and fights in a style that suits him. And what he does he does really well. He does hold his guard up really well. He does have pretty good head movement. He is though, hungry, and he got heart. He is physically very strong. Therefore strong in the clinch. You can tie him up when he comes to you but he probably will still win in the clinch. He does not have that one punch ko power. But he is more like a battering ram. He does have enough power that over time a lot of opponents will crack. With only 21 fights he has been in there with top competition. Apart from the Klitschkos, Thompson and Haye no other heavyweight has faced as much competition. And again he only has 21 fights. Last fight he was in great shape. I would not write him off.
Chisora was always never more than a fringe level contender who today is one loss away from being a journeyman.
