The main story from the presser was, that Fury never shut his mouth off on AJ. He is trying to sell this fight on the back of AJ. Even his best bud Chisora exposes and owned him: "AJ is living in Tyson's head rent-free," Chisora said. "Tyson wakes up every day thinking about AJ and cannot do an interview without mentioning AJ. "AJ is off living his life, doing his own thing. I don't know why Tyson keeps talking about AJ." But Chisora believes it's unfair to blame Joshua for those negotiations with Fury stalling. "AJ could not take the fight because there were so many complications with sponsors and promoters," Chisora explained. "The fighters always want to fight, just fight, but the complications come from the business people around them who get in the way." "I knew the fight was happening straight after I beat Pulev," Chisora declared. And people who were unbiased knew that. However, putting together this event with Fury was far from straightforward, he insisted. "The managers and promoters get in the way, they make it difficult," Chisora said. "Even this fight and contract was a headache stressing me out. "People always think making a big fight is easy but it's always such a headache." It took them 4 weeks in order the contract to be in proper state and Chisora to sign it. There was no deadline for Chisora, Fury gone missing on Social Media during this time. And let's not forget that Chisora doesn't have sponsorship and commercial deal + he is not tied to exclusively fight on a platform, which makes the fight easier to make. If Fury is so so much better than the rest of the competition, why is he fighting Chisora exactly?
Fury and Warren are trying to build an image of Fury as a daredevil hero who can take down anyone. They skilfully managed to duck Usyk and Joshua in one shot knowing they would never have been ready for December and by placing the blame for the missed matches on them. The truth is that Fury is at the end of his career but he can still make a lot of money as there are many bums or worn out fighters in circulation. But sooner or later the Wbc will order him to fight at least one among Ruiz, Usyk, Joyce or Wilder who will put an end to his inflated career for good. Time to time.
Hearn and Joshua are cowards and con artists but Fury isn't a whole lot better. Wouldn't put it past him to serve up a Del4. This time it's war!!
He's like Floyd and Mike Tyson. Talks about wanting the best, but does everything to avoid facing the best and preserving the 0.
I know you have me on ignore. but for the benefit of everyone else. & for the thousandth time . Anthony Joshua is Chisora's manager. now read all that has been said with that in mind. Thank you.
Chisora is AJ's friend, so of course he will mouth the same lines. The reality is that Wilder and Fury was made very quickly and there were big sponsors and networks involved. Wlad and AJ was made very quickly, same thing. Big fights can be made quickly when 'business people' want to do it. The reality is this wasn't a case where Hearn-J got to have everything perfectly lined up, they had to make compromises and didn't want to do it. Just think about the logic of 'business people' avoiding this fight and missing out on millions because it was 'just too hard' to get it done. It makes zero sense, these people would work around the clock to get their gold. And there was plenty of time. The truth is they thought it was better to wait because they decided they could milk more money off AJ by avoiding Fury for at least a while.
How are they even sanctioning this 'fight'? Chisora got 1 split decision win in last two years....and now he is fighting against presumed "the man" at heavyweight, he has literally zero chances of winning.....pathetic
Chisora, who is managed by Anthony Joshua, blamed sponsors and promoters for AJ not fighting Fury. there it is right there. he's actually confirming what we have already said & what was clear from reading between the lines of what Hearn was saying a few weeks ago. Hearn sabotaged this fight & used AJ's sponsors as a delaying device. the sponsors themselves? who knows.
