Chisora put on ass in open sparring, Haye not looking too sharp himself

One of them was that Cameron dude that just starched Monte in 2 rounds the other day.

Been following Gary Logan on twitter too and a lot of his tweets suggest Haye has been giving his sparring partners a hiding

These open sessions are just for show, they are not taken seriously at all by fighters. Also David Haye has weights inside his wraps around his gloves.

Open workouts are just open workouts, just for the camera's etc

Hmmm :think. I'm tempted to go for a late Haye stoppage, too. But it'll probably be a decision, depending on how good Chisora's condition is.

 

Im sure they weren't sparring as they normally would since they knew cameras were here. . usually his camp doesn't let cameras in for his sparring. . .


anyway, i NEVER put anything in sparring. . . you can't. . . in that video, it was clear they were trying their best to emulate Haye's style, and simply practicing cutting the ring off, and head movement trying to catch, and avoid haye's fast shots.

 

Look's like Delboy is looking to work on the inside and smother Haye. Delboy will make this an ugly fight, no doubt..

 

I noticed that too. I've never seen him utilize the jab in a HW fight though.....and the extra 5lbs looks good on him. Hopefully he is gonna prove me wrong and become a boxer again like he was when he was campaigning at CW.


Haye, at 235, still ripped, but filled out, with all his God given talent and strenght would be an absolute monster to compete with Wladimir, especially now that he knows his chin can withstand Wlad's R hand.:deal

 

And let's hope it doesnt discourage Haye into finding a way out before the fight comes to it's natural conclusion.:-(

 

Are you guys aware of who he was sparring against? Dereck will never spar well with the press present. Trust me with this. Chris Keane was the guy Dereck was sparring. Check out his amateur record. He ko'd 6 of the 7 opponents on his way to winning the HEAVYWEIGHT ABAS. He is campaigning between cruiser and light heavy. The last person with a ko record like this was frank bruno. Check the stats. Dereck is under instructions not to let shots go. Dereck also sparred with Nathan Cleverely and Joe Hanks. Who has David been sparring?? Anybody know??

His jab is a great one sadly he dones't use it often enough. I thought if he used it more against Wlad it would be more competetive.

 

Haye and Dereck were eye to eye each time they met so I say both are about 6'1-6'2 right?

 

Ali got beat in sparring all the time. The 18 and 19 year old Larry Holmes always beat Ali in sparring and so did all the other guys. They beat him into the ropes and had him running all over. Sparring doesn't have any effect on the outcome of the fight. Dereck will win either way. Haye cant fight like a dog and this is set up to be a dog fight. Haye is gonna be dog walked-that's all.

 

That beach body of Haye wont help him when he's trapped in the corner getting pummeled.
