Chisora - Takam on Whyte - Parker undercard, July 28

takam easy wide ud not even close

 

This is a really good, well-matched fight. Two squat tanks going at it toe to toe from the opening bell. I'll take Takam, who's just a bit better skill-wise at everything than Chisora, whose advantages lie in his slightly greater hand speed and workrate, but Chisora can blow hot and cold, and when he's blowing hot he can prove a handful for a lot of fighters. Takam is Mr Consistency, and we should know what he's going to bring to the table.

Either going to be a wide UD for Takam or a SD if the fired up Chisora comes to bring it. I'll lean towards the former, as I don't think Takam has what it takes to wake the beast in Chisora.

This might also explain why Pulev had to choose Dimitrenko for his IBF eliminator instead of Takam who ranks higher than Dimitrenko. Dimitrenko is literally the highest ranked IBF fighter that would fight him.

Says a lot that Takam is possibly getting more money fighting Chisora than Pulev.

 

I loved the card before. I love it even more now. Good night for boxing!

 

Chisora is well past it but he brings fun to the game with his unpredictability. Takam should control this and win a UD relatively easily.

Good fight for the undercard though.

 

This is going to be one of the best heavyweight showdowns of 2014.

Too bad it’s 2018.

You know with Chisora I fully agree. He's not the greatest boxer, far from it. But heck his fights are usually quite entertaining. I rather watch bang it out than watch some boring 12 rounder with guys like Pulev. Chisora vs. Takham sounds like a fun slugfest, I can't imagine this fight will disappoint!

 

Chisora will win by convincing decision or late stoppage. He is in his best shape yet and looks ready to get title shot.

 

Takam is gunna beat Chisora. Del Boy is past it, losing to Kabayel was the final nail in the coffin.

 

I did wonder the other day when Derek was saying on ifl that he was fighting 'the Cameroon boy' next

anyone says this is a poor card needs their head checking.
the calibre of fighters on this card is great from a UK perspective.

 

Chisora is shop worn. Takam will win a decision.

Big Baby Miller should take on the winner of this.

Great fight. Prime del boy is underrated and I think could have taken Takam. Takam should be a fairly solid favorite now, but Chisora is still a live underdog.
