Just got the press release from Hennessy. They are targeting a late July date. Who takes it?

at least the debacle with the Wlad fight has seemingly raised Chisora's profile. nice to see some lower level fringe contenders going at it rather than feasting on cans till they get a big fight.

I have to admit, I'm actually interested in this fight lol...

We'll finally get to see if either of these guys is worth a sh*t...

This is the way it should be, contenders fighting contenders, then the winner gets a title shot, not the other way around...

I think Fury is better than Chisora in every dept but his lack of improvment has shown hes not really put it all together into 1 good boxing package.

Furys skills are all better but Chisora wins, and furys lack of progression will show when theres no plan B from him or his team should Delboy take control of the fight.

Chisora must have pocketed a fortune for the Wlad cancellation. This fight interests me far more than Gaye Fraudley.

I actually think they're pretty even in terms of skill set and experience, they're gonna wind each other up big time and I think we'll see a decent domestic tear-up when they meet, probably the first of two or three fights they'll have. Close one to call but my money would go on Del Boy.

It's hard to pick. I think Chisora's stock has gone up merely from being signed to fight Wlad. Perhaps if this question was asked the day before we knew he was supposed to sign for that fight then we might get a slightly different perspective. I think Chisora comes across as more of a natural boxer, but Fury a more natural fighter. Chisora has better technique, but I suspect that Fury may have an edge when it comes to the usual intangibles (heart, chin, will to win etc..) and has the obvious size advantage.

I think it would go similar to the first McDermott fight. Fury's porous defense would be exposed again, and he would eat straight rights all night, but I think Fury would have a better work rate and could edge it out in a close, and probably controversial, decision. If Fury sticks with Steward (is he still with him?) and get's good sparring, then I would probably pick Fury without a moments hesitation if we asked the same question in a couple of years...assuming he progresses as should be expected.

    Wow. Good fight.

I'll be rooting for Fury, but think Chisora will take it.

If Fury prepares properly he'll win the fight. He's a lot better than people give him credit for, he just needs to start taking his career seriously and not turn up to fights overweight. Fury's physical advantages will pose big problems for Chisora and Fury has the power to gain Chisora's respect.

Fury by UD. I say that assuming he'll be in better shape than his last fight.

This is exactly the right kind of fight for both right now.

    Not Klitschko-Chisora, not Fury-Tarver.

    This.
