Great news this really, I'm genuinely surprised about this. I guess for those wondering about Primetime's marketing campaign for Khan v Judah, this is it. I imagine Jimmy will be all over "And don't forget you can watch Amir Khan on Primetime later tonight-only £15" about a million times over the course of the show. It's rare I'll give Dickie Desmond any praise, but he *might* have played a blinder here.

Oh, and Fwanky can **** right off. How many digs can he get in at people in a couple of hundred words every week? I reckon he's shitting himself now Eddie Hearn is in the game.

That is great news, hopefully channel 5 do a bit of a build up.

But great news this fight is on terrestial. If it gets enough viewers and is a good enough fight, they'll back another show for sure.

Froch, Barker & Murray all leave Hennessy over the lack of TV exposure and he still finds a way to get boxing back on Terrestrial television, who da thunk it.

Good news about channel 5, i wonder if it'll just be another random dabble with boxing like Holy/Moorer 2. Hope not.
Frank ****** is a transparent fish-eyed cretin. How the f**k does he get a column in a national.

Amir Khan is on the same night , so i guess its a channel 5/primetime big boxing bonanza night.

Channel 5 aren't gonna be able to sell Khan/Judah well, especially seeing as it's the same night. How many of your average viewer is gonna say "well that was a good fight (Chisora/Fury) I watched for nothing... let me get my wallet out and pay £15 for another..."

thios is great news, this will also be in HD something that Primetime cant offer.I would be surprised if there isint some sort of advertising for the khan fight in this show .I wonder if it is a one off or if wether C5 will look at it more seriously.

Funny to think the last fight they showed live was Holyfield v Moorer !

in the run up to it channel five will obviously advertise the fury/chisora fight & may even plug the khan fight on those adverts too for a week or two before before hand.
i think the fury/chisora fight will get at least 3 times the viewers the khan fight gets so you never know, when team khan see the figures they may even sign a deal with channel5:D

Whilst some are congratulating Mick Hennessy on what looks like a great coup, I wonder what the significance is of ****** being the one to actually break the news.

this is a suprise and a great one at that.

i always say it but frank doesn't help boxing with his column's - always putting fighters and the sport down.

Brilliant news. If Primetime start using more boxing as Channel 5 as an outlet it will do wonders for their popularity. However, they need to show more boxing on there and less PPV fights and that way they'll get more popularity, less people complaining that they're charging for not worth it fights and everyone wins.
