It's not that hard to imagine him fihting for a interim version of a paper belt.

Won't ever be the real champ though.

I would love to see him put some meat on the bones and move up to cruiser.

He might not have it still but I have a feeling he would be a handful.

With the right strength and conditioning he would be a beast.

Clev didn't win his belt, he was handed it.

Bellew has done he right thing in that he's gone down the WBC route which is perceived the premier belt with the lineal champion and he got all the way to being mandatory for that belt and the lineal title but in the end he is just short being a genuine world champion in that weight division.

It is conceivable that he could win one of the other belts by coming back down to domestic level in the meantime but what would be the point?

Move up to Cruiser weight where he can have a genuine chance at being a world champion would be what I would think would be best but that's up to him.

Nothing to do with opposition, Stevenson does leave himself wide open at times I think Kovalev has a better chin too

They are both elite but Kovalev looks too solid, he has a nice jab and throws shots from far out which catches his opponents when they arent ready, I think he could take Stevenson's punches but Stevenson couldnt take his

I don't think Stevenson is scared to fight Kovalev. I think the Froch fight would be really big in Canada due to Froch's fights with Pascal and Bute.

I'd fancy Kovalev over him though.

Yeah people just jump on the fact he was stumbling on hid words in interview but he always sounds like that.

At 36 years old he probably realises he's got 2 years to make as much money as possible and fights against Hopkins and Froch bring far more money then Kovalev does at moment.

I do rate Kovalev highly but i think Adonis is very crafty and rather slick so i could see him knocking out Kovalev just as much vice versa.

I just find Bellew a horrible boxer to watch and get behind nowadays.
