Twentyman is right in his breakdown of the fights ( I agree with Jonas v Harper rematch comment too) and they do seem fights with very predictable outcomes. That said, I'll be watching. Think a couple will be entertaining fights despite the what seems the obvious outcome.
To be fair to Chisora, most of us here reckoned Takam to beat him. And he deserved a "W" against prime Helenius back in 2011 too.
Yet when he beat Takam it's the same old story, Takams nothing special etc. Will be the same when he beats Parker. I want to know who he fights next. Beating Parker puts him right back up there. Chisora/Whyte 3 maybe?
Unbelievable odds on the fight to go the distance. 5/6. I have never seen an instance of such value since joyce to beat dubois by T/KO at 5/1. In my opinion this is sure to go the distance as both men have sturdy chins and neither are huge punchers. Get on it now fellas
A very interesting article on Boxing Social and a fantastic quote that sums up Hearn/Matchroom and Sky and PPV. "I know people who buy drugs. over the years they have relayed their experiences to me. I have also probably previously mentioned that I really like the film "Candy" in which Heath Ledger says "They say for every 10 years you've been a Junkie, you'll have spent seven of them waiting around. Boxing promoters would make fine dealers, at first, a new dealer with serve you up a great bag of produce and tell you they have put a little bit extra on top. Over time they give you a little bit less, and what you get has either been stretched out and stepped on or simply no good. And then you have to pay that little bit more for the same product as you are addicted to it. And then they stop selling it in weight. Eventually, you will have to pay a lot more for a lot less and are made to wait for it" Full Article https://boxing-social.com/features/dooley-noted-earning-with-hearn/
Yeah, it does actually like I'm lonely and talk to myself. Anyway, I just didn't hit edit to add that, I didn't quote myself, I just made another post
This fight isn't going the distance. Del Boy will turn up to fight. Chrisora is knocking him out...or if you think Parker wins, bet on the KO for Parker. Saying that I did lose 300 quid backing Bentley on Saturday lmao. I'm confident about this one though. Chisora wins.
Lol. Fair play. Cant see a knockout personally however as for the result it can go either way. Parker overrated and del boy a pudding
Chisora is 37 years old, he's unlikely to ever win a meaningful fight again. Having said that, Parker looked 40-odd in his last fight just a few weeks ago.
That might be due to the facial hair, in part. Parker without facial hair looks his age and with looks about 45. He's got that trucker look going on.
