Why is fighting Szpillka giving Derek a chance? It's hardly a title shot or even a contender shot is it? Chill your beans, two gatekeepers having a decent fight nothing to see here.

Nah, they met on the set of the Polish movie "Pitbull". It was a staged fight, I don't see them fighting in 2018. Szpilka just hired a new coach (Gmitruk, renowed for working with Adamek) and he will require some light opponents in early 2018. Later that year he wants to fight Kownacki again and I guess that's the main fight for him, not Chisora.

Szpilka is probably more skilled than Chisora, but he's just so god damn fragile. Would all depend on which version of Chisora showed up and then of course(regardless of which version) whether or not his chin holds up.

Always fancied this to be a good fight, maybe a bit late in the day now but interesting match up nonetheless.

Szpilka is a former world title contender who won rounds against a great champion, the devastating bronze bomber. He would clown british level jokers like Chisora and Dillon Whyte.

A fun but meaningless fight. Could go either way.

I guess it would give Chisora an okay pay day before hanging up the gloves and Szpilka a chance to rebuild if that's possible.

Hopefully Szpilka's new coach can get him out of the habit of posing like " you can't hurt me " after his opponent actually hurts him. He needs to clinch or get on his bicycle. Heck even shelling up would be better than opening himself up for even more damage.
