Charging PPV for a non title fight - Eddie Hearn really is taking the mick out of boxing fans on this one; especially just before Christmas. Fans of boxing need to resist buying (even after a few beers!) otherwise the majority of half decent bouts will be hyped up to feed Hearns expanding cash cow - boo mooo

Chisora vs Haye was PPV too, as was Bellew vs Haye I and II, as well as Bellew vs Cleverly II.
None were titlefights and still they were PPV.
It's nothing new in the UK.

I feel it should be noted that regardless what you think of this being a bad fight for PPV or not, let us not forget that Frank Warren had Khan v Prescott, Harrison v Rogan and Brook v Jennings on PPV.

We usually get a big ppv just before Xmas, it’s just a shame we have two this year. I won’t be buying both. I was going to buy the sky one and watch the Frampton fight the next day but warren has done a really good job at keeping the fury/wilder fight off of YouTube

In my opinion it doesn’t warrant PPV so will not be forking out to watch it

PPV's have all gone downhill since AJ/Whyte, when AJ was "all about creating a huge event with amazing cards". That was a superb card and none since have really come close to it.

It’ll be fireworks in the whyte vs chisora fight and Walsh vs Bellotti for sure!

There have been some good PPV fights in the past - yes, also been some terrible ones - the fact is, for true boxing fans, a sky sports sub, a bt sub on top, then ten plus PPV a year is too much. If people didn’t pay for the lesser fights - they would still more than likely happen - but we wouldn’t have to pay twice

Exactly m8. Was it him that promoted Groves v DeGale on ppv when both were at British level ?

True - Warren just as guilty, doesn’t matter if it’s in BT or Sky, if fans don’t buy (tough resisting I know) fights down the road less likely to be PPV - unless of course the huge fights with genuine hype value (rather than fake handbags at the press conference!)

If you don't rate a Ppv then just don't buy it

I don't think it's a Ppv fight either but there's so many ways to watch Ppv boxing these days it's really a non issue

I know it's the principle, but still...

The casuals love a bitta beef between two heavies, and they'll come in there droves for chisora v whyte II

Regular followers of boxing are a niche market

Whether Warren or Hearn - need to take each fight on face value - at least Frampton fight is for a title, think I’ll watch the darts instead
