I think this is a good fight to make next, given the current state of both. Chisora gets a decent name for his last fight, and has a clear route to victory he can go for. There would be no better send off than if he's able to survive some scary moments and grind out a win in warrior fashion. As for Zhang he gets a winnable bounce back fight that isn't a total bum. If he loses he's almost certainly finished. Curious what y'all think of this matchup.
I like this fight. For me, Zhang is seriously overrated and I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Del, even at this stage, could force him to work at an uncomfortable pace and stop him late...IF he can avoid having an enforced kip.
Chisora is far too easy to hit especially at the tail end of his career,Chisora does not need a Zhang fight ! Many times during the Wallin fight Chisora was wide open to be hit with a big shot,Zhang would not miss when presented with the same opportunity’s .
I like this fight. Chisora historically has the better gas tank but will likely walk on to some of zhangs shots at some point. Would be a career best win if Chisora could pull it off but im not sure how likely that is.
Chisora knocks him out. Get Zhang pass 4 rounds and he will go for him. Non stop pressure, big Zhang will crumble.
Could see this fight happening, would rather see Chisora fight Miller though. I think Chisora's style is bad for Zhang as Zhang has no footwork or stamina and I think Chisora will pummel his body like Kabayel did. However, Zhang can defo knock Chisora out as Chisora's defence is poor but I think Zhang will struggle to get the distance and timing right against Chisora to stop him, can see Zhang knocking Chisora down though. Chisora 6th round KO. Think it will be a similar fight to Zhang V Kabayel.
I like both, but I lean more toward Zhang. Chisora's a tough dude but if he takes one of those bombs from Zhang I really don't see it going too differently from how the Joyce rematch went, especially considering the amount of damage Chisora has taken in his career anyways. Chisora was wide open for big shots even early on in his last two fights, it's just Joyce was too damn slow to take advantage and Wallin was unwilling to engage at any point in their fight. Zhang's got deceptively fast hands and pretty good countering abilities, so I feel like he'd be better able to take advantage of those openings. I'm not gonna rule out a Chisora win, he could maybe lean against Zhang, put the pressure on and attack the body like Kabayel did. But even Kabayel got hit with a great counter, which yeah he was able to get up from, but he's much younger and hasn't taken nearly as much damage in his career. Not a bad fight in concept, but at this point I'd much rather see Chisora's last fight be against someone who isn't a huge puncher, or at least with a title on the line if he's gonna take that kind of big risk in his last outing.
