Chisora was already ripe for a deserved retirement after Parker II at the end of 2021. A fight where he takes three KDs as a reminder. Then he came back for a war against Pulev. Then he came back again but we could understand him a little since it was for a world championship against Fury. Of course he took a lesson. And there he comes back again for a ten round against Washington. Damn he already looks half crazy it's shameful: This content is protected However, he must have won a lot of money.
Possibly. Sometimes I think that boxer's worst fear is not dying in the ring, but losing and living with the irrepairable damage.
Chisora needs to take a trip down to a brain injury rehab centre and maybe he'd realize sometimes death is better than what you can end up like. Modern medicine will leave you in bed making noises instead of letting you die as nature intends, see Michael Schumacher.
A couple more fights and he won't even be able to find the venue for the fight after that. The saddest part is the tragedy his deteriorating health will put his family through in future years.
I don't think a Gerald Washington fight is the breaking point or anything...but he should just retire. Surely he's made enough money?
Feed him to Zhang once he knocks Joyce out again. Get this loud mouth out of the sport for good. ‘He glassed me, he ****ing glassed me man. Im going to shoot you David’ ah **** off you nobody Dell Boy
Chisora has enough money but he does love to make more. You can also clearly see he enjoys the buzz of fight night. I think he cannot find that buzz elsewhere in his life. But he is definitely showing the signs of a long career and it’s time to hang them up. Washington doesn’t like it stuck on him, and doesn’t deal well with volume punching. Chisora could force the stoppage but he would need to throw more than 10-20 punches a round. If you stand off Washington and give him space he can have success and look good. If Chisora has one of those lethargic stand off performances, then Washington will beat him via a decision.
I worry about him too, he's made a lot of money in recent years and I can't really see any more big fights in his future so he should really retire. He's been a warrior through out his career taking tough fights again and again but at some point you need to know when to hang them up and the time is now. I really hope those close to him try and convince him to retire before he really gets hurt or takes too much damage he ends up with some serious medical issues.
