Derek 'Del Boy' Chisora was left bitterly disapointed when Wald pulled out of their heavyweight world title fight due to a muscle tear. Rumor has it that Wald will use this six week delay to set up a unification fight with Haye in the spring, leaving Chrisora, a shock title shot recipient in the first place, out in the cold. Derek though insits that he has a binding contract with Wald.

"Disappointed is not the word but I'll bounce back," insisted Chrisora.
We have a contract and he has to arrange to pay me to step aside or fight me. I will be fighting in Febuary either way.

Chrisora shrugged when asked if he thinks that Wald will meet Haye in the spring, paying Chrisora to step aside in the process. " I don't know, you'd have to ask him about that,"shrugged Chrisora. "I want the fight and am not giving up". I am very annoyed, very annoyed, but, what can you do. I have 30 days and we will see what happens."

"I was comfortable, this is the fight game so I am always ready".

" I would take the other brother, Vitali."

Thoughts, Vitali brutal KO' by Vitali if this ever happend

I guess this reaffirms that Wlad does not have to fight him.

If Vitali is going to fight a voluntary defence before facing the Austin-Solis winner, why on earth would he fight Chisora instead of Adamek?

Chisora had his moment in the limelight - he should go back to British/Euro level and work his way up.

Vitali and Wladmir need to repair their damaged legacies. Boxing fans will no longer tolerate opponents like Chisora and Briggs. Boxing fans are tired of the brothers ducking European athletes. Vitali and Wladmir should set up March bouts with Alexander Dimentrenko and Vladmir Virchis. Then Vitali can go on to face Alexander Ustinov in late 2011 and Andrzej Wawrzyk in early 2012. Then Wladmir can face Denis Boystov in late 2011 and Yakup Saglam in early 2012. After these bouts, they can then face each other for the EBU Title in Summer 2012 and retire.

I would love to see Vitali fight Adamek or Valuev. Chisora, not so much.

Chisora will have to fight his way up, now, as has been said.
