I don't think Fury would have beat him had he come in in shape. Fact of the matter is that he didn't though and there's no-one but himself to blame. Boxrec says and will always say Fury UD12 Chisora. Better man on the night.
Oh shut up. Fury beat the Chisora. Not the Chisora that you made up in your head to make excuses for. A lighter Chisora has less behind his punches. So it's Tyson's fault he took the time to come into that fight in shape. You kids are silly.
Result would be the same. I was baffled how the bookies had Fury as the underdog. I made quite a bit of money of them. Wouldn't mind doing it again.
I've seen every Chisora fight that's been on UK TV and IMO last night, despite the weight gain was the best performance I've ever seen from him. In previous fights I haven't been impressed at all. I believe he was over hyped due to his potential fight with Wlad, most likely by people who had never even seen him fight.
Chisora is 27 and this was a big loss for him, time is running out for him to get much better while Fury, though still raw, looks to have the mentality to improve.
Chisora was not in shape and if he was 20lbs lighter he would have won. He was gassed since mid point in the fight.
It's not uncommon for fighters to carry more weight into the ring when they are fighting against much larger opponents. Chisora could never move and outbox him, so his only hope was to get inside and make things rough. He carried the extra weight for that purpose... and either way he loses.
If Chisora was in his mid 30's he still would be young enough to make improvements and be a factor in the division.
Fury won 118-110 on my scorecard... Chisora would probably need more than just better conditioning to win, i.e improvements from a technical perspective too.
He 100% got his ass kicked .... and would every time ..and Wlad?? would ko him in the 1st or 2nd round
