In terms of the events that occurred on the night of the fight, our source - who was an eye witness in the dressing room at the time - informed us of the chaos that took place during the pre-fight hand-wrapping. Don Charles and Dean Powell, Chisora's head trainer and assistant trainer, agreed with the WBC and the German boxing commission three days before the fight on the type of bandages that they would wrap Chisora's hands in. However, in a dramatic situation which almost curtailed the fight ever taking place, Wladimir Klitschko insisted that Chisora's hands were re-wrapped just twenty minutes before the proposed ring walks. This, despite the previous agreement with the WBC and German commission, and despite the presence of five WBC officials in the Chisora changing room to oversee the wrapping. Moreover, when Charles subsequently went to Vitali's dressing room, the trainer discovered - to the Chisora camp's fury - that not a single WBC official had witnessed Klitschko's hands being wrapped.

Though this might seem simple gamesmanship on the part of the Klitschko side, our source tells us that the Chisora camp felt that this was consistent with the WBC's clear alignment with the heavyweight champion. Stopping short of suggesting corruption, or anything illegal, our source also reminded us of the statement put out by Jose Sulaiman on Friday night:

"He’s no gentleman at all, and he’s failed in what we expect of boxers. He wanted Vitali to lose control, but Vitali will make him pay for this in the ring, definitely."

As far as the brawl with Haye goes, our source expressed considerable regret on Chisora's part. However, he also assured us that it was Haye who definitively threw the first punch; furthermore, Dereck maintains that he had intended to bring his microphone down from the stage to approach Haye because he felt that they would be able to hype a potential fight.

For both fights, Chisora received no compensation for training expenses, travel costs or lost revenue for the long time that he didn't spent fighting; moreover, our source expressed considerable doubt regarding the purported reasons for the fight's being scrapped. In terms of the first fight, Chisora received no direct contact from Wladimir's side over the cancellation (which came two days before the bout was due to take place); instead, they discovered that the fight was cancelled over the internet. This came after Charles had learned from a Klitschko sparring partner, that Wladimir had only entered training camp two weeks before the scheduled date of the fight.

Having excused himself from the bout on the basis of a "torn adductor muscle", the Chisora camp were left angry and bemused when photos emerged just 10 days later of the heavyweight champion playing golf in Los Angeles. When Wladimir was confronted over the weekend by our source regarding the cancellations, the Ring Magazine belt-holder merely responded with: "it is what it is."

****** is trying to taske the blame so that chisora wont get his license taken away or banned.
I dont want to see him banned though, just fine him and make him and haye fight, its best for boxing.

yep you should not hit anyone just because they are in your face like that even tho they had slapped someone the day before and spit on someone else hours earlier.you should remain calm and just stand there

Chisora has only himself to blame that they finished the wraps before Wlad got there.

"Hand wraps shall be applied in the dressing room in the presence of a Commission representative and, if requested, one representative of the other boxer."

Haye could've taken a step back, put down his bottle, and challenge Chisora to a fist fight. Is that not how real men settle things? You can make an argument that the bottle incident was a sucker punch. Why would you need a weapon when you're a pro boxer anyway? Haye could've permanently damaged Chisora's eye with a broken bottle which could result in a lawsuit. David is now shamed by the German boxing family and could receive a lifetime ban. Street fighting isn't always smart. In fact, most of the time it isn't.
