How about you sad punks think of it like this....

Plenty of World Champs out there fight once a year at best. Many fight their mandatory then pick an easy fight in between meaning that they have one tough challenge every 18 to 24 months!!!

Choc's fighting at least 3 times a year so he'll have the tools sharp come his November super fight (did I say that?) So just put a line through the lesser opponents he has fought and you'll notice that every 12 months he has that decent fight like everyone else, he just slips a few easier ones in between.

Does anyone expect him to fight champs every 4 months?

Sam Soliman has been taking **** saying he had a virus before the last fight and Choc decided that it's worth fitting him in between now and November because Sam's profile lifted after "The Contender" This will help lift Choc's profile in the US before he fights there.

Also there is the very real problem that no one wants to fight him except those looking for a pay day they don't deserve. Calzaghe and Bute have flat out refused (Calzaghe for some time now) and come the day that the WBA call Mundine and Calzaghe together he'll relinquish the title or retire.

So what would you do if you were Mundine?

It's easy to criticize but harder to give answers, ain't it?

Who should he fight...that wants to fight?

So before you all start talking crap think about what he is actually doing.

Calzaghe was offered crap money...we know; the kind of money that said: "look, I'm making an empty gesture!"

Bute having flatly refused is complete news to me! I haven't heard anything about Bute and Mundine even considering fighting each other...do you have a link/more to add?

Ajay, didn't you say before that we'd all be very surprised at his next opponent (insinuating that he was going to take on a big gun of the division)?!

What ? Did Bute really duck out of a fight with Mundine ? I now DEC is right about the Calzaghe offer being feeble ( £8,000,000 ) was the figure i heared but i never heared Bute ducked Mundine , May be he offered Lucian the same £8,000,000 tht Joe Laughed At ..:yep

Sorry mate, I stopped reading at this point because Mundine isn't a world champ, and even if you acknoweldge his second-tier title, he's only been 'second-tier champ' for 12 months.

This is one of the WORST and most BIASED posts i have seen in a while. Lets have a look at some ACTUAL world champs from other divisions and see how they compare: Kelly Pavlik during 2007 fought against Zuniga (Dangerous top ten middleweight), Miranda (highly regarded KO artist and top contender in the division), and Taylor (undisputed middleweight champion of the world. From December 06 until December 07, Miguel Cotto fought against: Carlos Quintana (undefeated and highly regarded prospect, current world champion), Otkay Urkal (top 10 Welterweight contender), Zab Judah (former undisputed champion and top 3 in the welterweight division) and the HOF, and multiple weight world champion Shane Mosley. Marco Antonio Barrera just missed out on making 3 boughts during a year. His two fights however where against 2 of the TOP 5 p4p best fighters in the world.

ANthony Mundine in comparison, has fought two Argie bums in the past year, WHO NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN SANCTIONED. It was an absolute joke, and a disgrace to boxing. Before that he fought Sam Soliman, a credible opponent, but nothing earth shattering. Sam was not a world champ, merely a contender who was fighting up a division. The Soliman fight would have been considered a "keep busy" fight for most "real" world champs. For Mundine though, this constitutes a super fight. A super or big fight, is supposed to be unification, or fighting a very highly regarded opponent.

^^^^^^ = My interpretation of your post. You've got zero credibility here mate, save us all some time next time and stick to jerking off over Chocs picture. At least then you might have something to show for your efforts.

I give Green more chance at LHW of beating Mundine than he had at SMW (especially the Green that Mundine fought that night - come on, don't tell me you thought that was prime/100% Green?), yes, but I still think it's more likely that Mundine will beat him.

Besides, Ottke, Siaca and Kessler all beat this joke...Siaca man, hehehe

To tell you the truth I'm kinda sick of hearing about Mundine and Green, it's so repetitive. I hope Jeff gives it a go and Briggs brings in some more colour to the Australian boxing industry!

:lol: I actually give Green a better chance of beating Mundine now than back then.
