His publicity is second to none and I'd love to see a stat count on how many articles there are on Mundine compared to the rest of Australia's fighters.

Though the forums seem to be posting 'hate' threads, they seem to like talking about him. Even though the same recycled arguments (for and against) are expressed time and time again.

Aussie boxing though on the whole needs more publicity in general.

Qual e' a sua nationalidade Nomas?? The Mans publicity on this site is the most arguementive aspect of the Aust box. forum... 80-20 against Mundine.. Yeah, he gets the publicity... so did Hitler. The Mans talented... yet, as much as I enjoy seeing him fight.. Im the last one who thought they would get tired of the charades.. The posts on this site have given a clearer view of the circus involved in the Mans activities. its draining and appalling.... negative publicity has a limited life span.. Mundines career epitath may read without excitement, post boxing.

A large percentage of the people who attend his fights go to see him lose - but they still pay to get in - money in the bank.

I hate myself for mentioning Ali in the same post as Mundine Jnr, but Ali did the same thing early in his career (ie made out he was a crazy, big-noter, calling which round they'd fall etc). Difference is Ali was world class!!!

Its not like Mundine was waving around an Ali biography when he announced his decision to turn pro...um yeah.

Nothing unites people better than a common enemy, and some say there is no such thing as bad publicity. So Mudine unites the masses and increases exposure but I think most of us would agree that the ends result is not very constructive for boxing.
Besides whinging about him has cathartic benefits, also because I know if I had the chance to punch him in the head, I'd still miss.

He makes many miss...lol. In person, the guy is not unlike his dad... in front of the cameras, he is totally out of his own league when verbalising... Actually a nice bbloke, and humble..... and takes interests in other peoples thoughts... a welcoming guy.

Shame about the management, and his own self-promoting..
