sturm fights abraham for super title status, choc says, "hey I'm # 1, I have this fight ready, he is # 10, why don't you sanction it?" wba dogs- "of course choc we will take your money, here is another easy belt". they are so predicatble and pathetic, yet very very smart!
show me the money honey! the timing will work out perfect for them so why would the wba wait, they will just say fight mandantory next, which won't happen cause he'll then fight green, if not it will be geale.
Personally I don't think the step aside money would be big enough. When Tyson gave Lewis step aside bucks, it was something like $3M. I'd be very surprised if it's not Shannan's PABA title and that alone. Sturm v Abraham isn't signed yet and a super champion only gets named when belts are unified. If someone were theoretically unable to make weight in that fight, title belts couldn't be on the line, if that fighter won.
Ippy come on this isnt Tyson and Lewis..Who is number 2? That Zbink guy?..surely Choc can get enough coin together to pay him off for a while. All the belts routinely contravene their rules if enough money is involvled. Its unfair but it happens.
Zbik is managed by the same bloke who managed Firat Aslan, Taras Bidenko, Rudy Kraj, Dimitri Sartison, Vlad Virchis etc. I doubt he's going to let it slide. As I said, the Felix Sturm v AA fight isn't even signed yet, so a belt can't be declared vacant in time for this fight.
If this happens then the WBA has sunk to a new low. I wouldn't be surprised either. Wasn't Soliman granted a #2 ranking after having never even fought at super middle for a couple of years?! And hasn't Mundine still not fought at middle even though he has had a #1, or #2 ranking there for a while now?
