I haven't discussed any details. I'm happy to delete the thread, I just thought that there'd be people on on here that would like some insight into the weight situation

I help fighters make weight all the time. There would be no problem

Mate, I've heard nothing from either camp to say the weight is different, but if it's not for the title you wouldn't imagine anyone would bypass fighting at a heavier weight if that is what they are used to. Once again though,I have heard nothing to say the weight has changed

Well, it's pretty safe to say Medley will have no problem keeping the fight at jnr middle, belt or no belt. He'd want Mundine as light as he can get him.

If Mundine could have made 154 yesterday like you said, then no reason why he can't make it ten days later. Plus, his latest rant is about making history and winning a belt at his new weight.

Thats why I think its not over yet....I think Khoder will see that the IBO wont bend so he will kiss and makeup in a day or 2

What are you saying Ash, this is all to help promote a fight that needs all the help in the world to promote because of say, a 'lack of credability' issue??

I would have never thought such antics would be in Khoder's nature...

No I'm not saying anything about promotion.......what I am saying is Khoder is trying it on and he will see the IBO wont cop it and he will agree and get the fight going.

No point in Mundine coming this far and not fight for the title :deal

I'd say he would have been at weight when the cassidy story came out in the paper. Did they weight him then to see what he was actually at. The mundine circus trying to hype up some interest in the fight.

Ash, your two best mates have never in their whole time relied on positive promotion of boxing as a sport, they have always relied on the 'please hate me' approach, hence this is just another avenue to create tension and as such talk/promotion for the fight.

C'mon Ash, your their PR man, you know the inner workings...

If I were Medley and the fight goes ahead as a non title bout I'd be insisting
on a penalty clause [ say $ 5000 ] if The Pioneer can't make weight.
Otherwise no fight . Take it or leave it.

But Ashley is probably right. It'll be for the title otherwise it's a lemon
    on PPV .

  13. If he could have made 154 easy I expect that he will still come in at 154? The IBO withdrawing doesnt change the fact that this should still be a junior middleweight fight.

I dont think the IBO have gone....its up to Khoner to stick by the IBO rules to get the fight approved....at this stage its not on but If Khoder came back Monday and agreed one would think its back on again.

i heard that the WBA might be coming to the table with the interim middleweight title for this fight.
