'Chocolata' Naoufel Ben Rabah returns to Harrys Gym!!!

    In news I've been hanging on to all week and just been given the all clear to release, I'm stoked to announce the return of 'Chocolata' Naoufel Ben Rabah to Harrys Gym in Perth, WA.

    After recently featuring in a Ring article as one of the '20 worst decisons in the last decade' (Juan Urango W12 Naoufel Ben Rabah), NBR is looking to avenge both that robbery and his 2007 Fight of the Year loss to Lovemore N'dou.

    The real Choc has had four fights in Europe since his tussle with Lovemore and is unbeaten since their clash but has returned to Harrys where there is hope he can challenge for a world title oppurtunity.

    Ring magazine recently said this about the Rabah-Urango fight;

    "Ben Rabah falls victim to the boxing rule that says if you have a name thats hard to pronounce and weird, and the other guy has a fight against Ricky Hatton lined up, you lose."

    Urango is the current IBF Light Welterweight Titlist.

    Hope to arrange an interview with NBR and Craig soon.

    Agree good...that was one of the best fight on Aussie soil for a while.

    It wasnt just a domestic level slugfest either...these were two world class operators with different styles really giving it there all.

    Glad to here Ben has been active and really glad to see he is back in oz.

    Jesus, does he make it to 135lbs?? It's been over a year since his last 135lbs bout and he looks smart at 140lbs.

    At 135lbs, I know it doesn't happen but Ganoy vs. Zappa, please!!! :good

    Zappa signing with Shaw put an end to any possibility of that fight happening mate. Both Di Carlo and Grange offered Ganoy for Zappa but they didn't want it.

    Very true Contendo...Ganoy hasn't been at 135 for a while and he isn't getting any younger. He might struggle mate, see what happens I guess. He's always made it quite comfortably in the past though when given a long prep.
