During 2012-2014 Kazuto Ioka have the WBA Regular belt and want fight Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez for the WBA World belt, but Chocolatito never fought him and move in Flyweight. Do you think he ducked him or the WBA Regular was useless as possible and was not a proof ?
Neither. Ioka was like 10-0 or something and a purse bid was called by the WBA, at the start of 2013 after he'd beaten Estrada for the first time. But Gonzalez outgrew the division and moved up to Flyweight. Thay being said, Ioka and Inoue are huge misses for Chocalito with hindsight.
Thanks for your answer ! Yes of course it's a shame that the fight never happen also the fight SSR vs Jerwin Ancajas for a unification during a time there was rumors about it.
Heck no. It was Ioka who didn't want any of that Choco smoke. And it was good on his part. Roman was gonna put a beating on that boy.
Definitely Inoue, I remember he was in that division begging for either of the Superfly four to fight him before just moving up.
Ioka had been a unified champ at 105. Inoue was a 2 div champ. Choc ducking both was shameful, should disqualify him from the HoF
"Choco Smoke", now that's what the cigarette companies should be marketing to ten year olds. You should patent the name. You're gonna get rich!
