I like Chocolatito's style a lot more than Segura's and do think he's far more technically skilled...but don't like that match-up for him. Segura moving up in weight is a boon for Gonzalez, as it frees up 108 for him to dominate as he did at straw. Unfortunately, I really do think that's his ceiling.

Against Manuel Vargas, Roman struggled to maintain Chango's respect. Segura will eat major shots, but will walk through absolutely everything and the kitchen sink to start to break Gonzalez down. It will be like a miniature Margarito-Cotto I (minus the hand wrap speculation...hopefully :yep)

Because he has so much talent and is such a classy guy, I hope Gonzalez never lands a date with Segura. It can only go wrong. Too big, too strong, too durable, too heavy-handed and too relentless.

Chocolatito has a new fan in me. Big respect is due.

If you want to see something similar, see the ending of Shane Moseley v. Golden Johnson. I'll never forget that...

Wow that was one of the best greatest acts I have seen in boxing as far as sportsmanship goes. He genuinely cared for his opponents wellbeing. Very Mr Alexis Arguello like.

    Nicaragua.

He's their biggest name since Mayorga, and maybe their most skilled boxer since El Flaco Explosivo.

I like Gonzalez, and this re-affirms my liking of him, but I'd like to see him step up in class of opposition soon. Hasn't done much since the Niida and Takayama wins.

:? He has fought predominantly good fighters since, and nothing but in his last three.

Segura is a KO waiting to happen he has no defence whatsoever I was in the arena for the Cotto Margarito fight. He was on the undercard V Canchilla he was made too look silly and bust up. Its all well and good walking through feather fisted Calderon, Gonzalez is a whole new animal
