FFS he was a laughable opponent and you damn well know it but you will sugar coat it because you are on Anthony's payroll. You are a yes man. Green is just as bad by the way with his BS cruiser title. How can you possibly in any way whatsoever regard Rob Medley as a decent opponent for Anthony Mundine ?
If you know anything about boxing it was a perfect fight. Rob Medley was always going to be a tough credible opponent who could sell. I am on Chocs payroll because after over 30 years as a professional boxer I have something to offer as a trainer. I did not choose his last fight but agreed with Khoders decision. As far as being a yes man I have never always agreed with Khoder. In fact far from it. Otherwise I would have been on Chocs payroll earlier. Please ask around boxing circles if I am a yes man. Im curious.
As an insider in Mundine's camp are you able to tell us how Mundine thinks he is perceived? Outside of the general public's disdain, true boxing fans are just frustrated by the way he has thrown away a career for reasons that are hard to fathom. The reality is that he has no legacy to leave as a boxer and now it seems unlikely he will create one.
Difference is Siaca has fought for world titles at light heavy. In fact, at middleweight he'd probably still scare mundine out of fighting.
:nono.....now now Kegsy.....I'm sorry I blew your scoop....I had no idea you were holding onto that gem :yep But saying choc's unofficial scheduled fight was ranked around the 20 mark is just plain BS Both you and I know he's rated with 2 of the big 4 belts inside the top 5 at MW :deal .....I think the RING has him in the top 10 :tong
It was a perfect fight for Mundine, seeing how Medley had his arse handed to hime twice by a blown up light weight, so Mundine thought as per usual...perfect here's another easy no risk pay day.
I wouldn't question your credentials or your credibility Flash - your record speaks for itself. But I would question your opinion regarding Medley and him being a perfect fight for Mundine. What did Mundine get from that bout other than a payday and another day at the office? Granted a fairly meaningful fight was in the making before his recovery from surgery curtailed it, but Mundine will be 35 very shortly and still appears to be treading the easy path that leads nowhere. I share The Duke's view reagrding any legacy Mundine may or may not leave.
The WBA super middleweight title reigns and his stint as ibo middleweight champion contrast with the supposed mediocrity you cast over "the man". I don't have blind faith, I just rate his opponents higher than you and I enjoy watching mundine fight whoever, the only recent fight I disliked was the falliga one. Pretty much everyone discredited medley as an opponent for choc and continue to do so this thread is full of **** about him. It was never Medley's opportunity, mundine was clearly the draw and intended to become a pioneer of the sport by becoming a champ at 154. Unfortunately it didn't happen and the WBA stepped in with a middleweight belt. Then mundine went out and beat the **** out of medley in an entertaining fashion - job done. Don't get prissy about apparent lack of respect, he's a ticket seller in the same vein as floyd. The scorecards were not too hot that night. Danny Green has built his name from hounding "the man", siaca is the latest tactic to get a shot at mundine. A lot of attention and plans being made around an "insignificant **** ant". I guess green must be a mundine fan or something Creepy Puppet :hi:, can't wait for your equally dumb partner in crime rocks up to further take your credibility away. It's proven he's on the hunt for kelly. Green can't go around claiming he's the best and we all know why! (hint 2006) CP :hi: Geale was stay busy? Medley? - If anyone else had fought these guys it would be credible and much lauded. You really know zero. Kessler was coming off a loss, choc moved down beat geale - no need for a worthless rematch, geale should join the queue. Was meant to move down beat medley anyway etc etc Green can't say he's the best whilst "the man" is still the sheriff in town. Please stop writing your nonsense. :hi: He was going down to 154 when the fight was made, nice money, pioneer status, got to go rounds against a live opponent, wba int. belt etc
