    Sounds a great little match up to be made, I'd pick Simpson on points but could see it going either way.

    Steve its not the first time youve been wrong were moneys concerned,you once said paul appleby was paid £100,000 to box lindsay nowhere near the mark mate nowhere.
    John Simpson gets married early sept, so wont be out till late oct i'd think,get spencer to call John's manager im sure John would jump at the chance.
    I dont know who this character Jonsey is but hes obviously pushing buttons for someone else ha ha.

    Would be a very exciting fight and there wouldnt be much to split them. Id go for Simpson on a close points decision. Make it happen!

    I'm wrong all the time - It comes with the terrain and only the mistakes are remarked about. However, I thought the Appleby figure was worked out against a purse bid - I can' remember to be honest. Was that the fight that only one national boxing journalist covered? I can, however, assure you that Spencer will pay MORE to Simpson than he has ever been paid. I also know 100 percent that you will never be able to prove me wrong and I will never be able to prove myself right because promoters are not keen to give out totals. If Spencer's offer is 47,000 pounds you would say not enough and I will say three times too much! We all know that because that is our business.
    I would make Choi against Simpson - Simpson would be a favourite and Simpson's profile would increase. That much I know.
    Or, just find a Kenyan with a 9 wins, two losses record to fight John on an undercard.
