The difference is George has taller hair. Old man Louis is wearing his thinning hair closer to his skull than young Foreman. Perhaps Joe has a more slumped appearance by then. He's not looking good.

I'm 6'5 and 17 and a half stone. Is that subjective?

Apparently it depends what time of the day and how you were measured.
Early morning you could be 5' 11"! Was the tape a man made material such as nylon or some other synthetic ? This can give you extra inches.A plain cotton tape will make you smaller. I always get my height measured in the evening when I am at my tallest,my chest and arms are measured with a nylon tape,my waist with cotton one.

That's where you're going wrong, you are at your tallest in the morning unless you hang upside down all day like a bat.

I thought I was the only one who knew this little trick, though ,since the rack has come off the wall, I can't employ it any more.

I have a personal rack, but you must be measured immediately after using it ,3 or 4 minutes later you begin to revert to your original height.

Now the next question, was George Foreman too small to compete with Lennox Lewis or Anthony Joshua?

Being"no bigger than 6'1.5" 200lbs Joe Louis," I would say there is a chance of it.
Choklab stated on an earlier thread that Takam vJoshua was not a fair fight because of the size disparity. Takam is 6'1.5" tall, the same height as Joe Louis, was 235.5lbs for that fight ,40lbs heavier than Louis was when he won the title and has an 80 inch reach,4 inches longer than Louis'.

I have drawn no conclusions whatsoever from the size disparity ,indeed I have twice said the difference in no way indicates what the result would be! Some here have a problem assimilating information.

Liston was 2 inches shorter than Foreman but about the same weight when they sparred.Foreman was still a kid compared to Sonny and would not have had his mature strength. The point is irrelevant anyway, we are not trying to draw a conclusion as to how a fighter would perform given a certain physique ,just being honest enough to admit that he possessed said physique. The later seems to be extremely difficult for some posters to reconcile themselves with !
