Nothing held him back. He is what he is and that's a guy who's capable of winning an alphabet belt but incapable of beating the elite fighters. Just a slicker version of a gatekeeper really.

I remember him and Zab had some issues before they fought and I really thought Chop Chop was gonna give him a good fight. Instead, he came out dressed like an Egyptian, did absolutely nothing and lost his belt. When he had Cotto hurt he acted like a dumbass and just kind of waltzed over to Cotto rather than attacking and going for broke. He took his time and let Miguel off the hook. I didn't see Corley's fight with Witter but I read that he didn't put up much of a fight there either. Surprise? Hardly.

What Alo said, basically. Where in DC did you guys grow up, Alo? I'm from PG, I know a guy who went to HS with Joppy; one of my trainers back when I still lived in MD was Coach Rock (you probably know who I'm talking about).
