    Nowt wrong with chorley apart from the pound shops.
    The town hall is a belting venue for amateur boxing shows.

    if that card was on sky and had the sky/murdoch hype machine behind it it probably would of sold a lot better.

    Flannagan needs to get himself over to sky to really appeal to the manchester fans who proved with hatton that they will come out in their droves if the fighter is a) entertaining and b) down to earth and likeable both of which terry is.

    It was also on the same day as the England rugby team were playing at the etihad (55k) and the rugby league grand final at old Trafford (76k) - 120k people in Manchester for rugby, as a result hotel room prices would have shot up massively and most local 'casual' sports fans would have probably been at the etihad as the England union team don't tend to come up north that often, frank massively ****ed up that one thinking he'd have a chance against two much bigger events
