Chris Algieri Is A Pretty Boy.....But Looks Can Be Deceiving

He has a decent jab since training under Garcia.

Algieri's rise and improvement since he focused on pure boxing has been pretty remarkable. I give him full credit for his growth in the sport and his toughness.

Pac's just a step too far IMO.

 

True I watched a Kickboxing clip of his (was fighting well untill he got caught and stopped.) but watching his boxing fights and his form when kickboxing it shows massive improvements.

 

Pretty or not he's a tough kid & can box he went the distance with a toughie like Ruslan
I personally don't think he won but he did well enough for a lot of knowledgeable people to think he did. After all there is no one prettier than The Greatest Muhammad Ali & he could sure fight

 

Algieri's schtick reminds me of watching pro wrestling as a kid and seeing the Mr. Perfect promo videos where they'd have him hitting a home run every pitch and sinking every shot. If only the Timberwolves had known the only thing stopping them from multiple NBA titles was signing Mr. Perfect.
